The CEO of Hyundai once said in a press release that if cars were new to the public today, they would be introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show rather than having a separate car show venue."In the video he was more interested in playing with the radio instead of showing the options on the car, but that is what some modern day owners think is important."

66-67 B's are kinda my forte. I hate almost everything done to that car. It's like a JC Whitney mobile. Just my 2-cents.
Mason, You've got to have thick skin when you ask for other people's opinions on a car. My two cents? For $5,000., I think that's a great buy. I'd take that sum and a magnet (bondo seeker) with me and unless there's unbelievable rust damage or something else major that you spot in your inspection, that baby would be coming home with me. You know what they say about pleasing all of the people... I hope it's all you hope it to be. Good luck.
This car looks pretty decent. It will need a little tlc, but you don't get much for that price anymore.
What do you guys think of this car?
No it does not have a Hemi in it.

I agree with coloradodave. If you do get it, drop a 5.7 Hemi under that hood, if not a different Hemi and let 'er roll! If those are 14" wheels, I'd probably switch them out for some 15" later on, not that important now.
As far as the nay-sayers go, to each his own. At least it's not another General lee look alike or a fake 'tribute' or 'clone' wannabe. The only thing important is that you are happy with it. Hope it's what you're looking for, if not, something else will come along! Good luck!
I'd be cautious about useing a magnet on the car. Might tic off the owner.
This is probably a Mexico-built car from new. The '66 & '67 Mexican B-bodies only had two engine options- a 225 and a 318. Period. The grille and tail panel are correct, and the 440 model was the sole model available. No R/T, no 500, no Deluxe. The speed should be a metric 200 km/h unit. Keep in mind that the Mexico-built car VINs do not align with the US and Canada-built Mopars at all, and are totally different. If I remember, they are only nine characters instead of 13.
There is a good write-up on Allpar.com but since they do not permit hyperlinks to them, you'll have to find that yourself.
I agree about ditching that awful stripe, hood blackout and the wheel/tire combo. If it's a good runner, with a solid body and the proper paperwork, five grand is a good price.
I will have to see about the VIN situation.
I have a Mexican built 1963 Savoy and it is the same series as the US cars which starts 213.
