I have a 1974 Charger and am forced to go to a floor shifter. I have bucket seats and then a center fold down seat, will I have to remove this center seat to use a floor shifter? Hoping someone with the same setup as me will answer so I will know for sure. what shifters look good and not cheesy in this?

I'm "assuming" you have a column shift automatic. If you put in a factory console, the "buddy seat" won't fit. If you don't add a console (or even if you do) you can find a lot of aftermarket shifters & cable operated ones are by far the easiest to install.

I went with a floor shifter in my 73 RR. Buckets with center fold down arm rest/seat. Didn't change anything with the seats. Im 6'3 so I don't have a problem reaching the shifter.
Hope that's helps.

Here is a link for some to check over, (B&M shifters) i didn't check into what you need but if you want new ive heard good reports on these.
