Budnicks "Right after it was in color & I unwrapped all the taping etc.
I totally regretted it"

????? Regretted it? Why?

it was too bright

I didn't like it, I thought that's what I wanted
I was only 19-20, wanted to be flashy/cool

it was a cop magnet too

Budnicks........Love those rims!
Ones on mine ? yes I do
something about a Halibrand
(lic. knock off/remake copy) style 60s-early 70s
forged polished Alum. kidney slots wheels,
it just makes' me smile
takes me back to the drag-races when I was a child
when most all the racecars had Halibrands (Real Magnesium Wheels)

fake 'knock off' caps (you can hardly tell)
held on by a center threaded cap & a small Allen anchor
it has regular lugs under it, mine has 'gorilla locks'

they were made by Edelbrock for a very short time (prior to 2005)

I used PPG SS Concept on my Cobra replica (a small car) and used a gallon and most of another quart on it (unreduced). I sprayed extra coats to allow plenty for blocking and buffing.

And then there are the people who make do with a $50 paint job.

Wasn't there a guy on moparts who did a $50 paint job on his charger? He used a foam roller, and it looked pretty good too.
