Pat69charger's 1969 XP29 Charger rust-oration!

So after much BS with te DMV and getting no where I managed to track down the owner prior to the relative of my wife. He is going to the DMV tomorrow to see if the car shows under his history. On a side note I pulled the rear end and front k frame today and got it on the jig.

WOW. Just started reading this. Pretty cool story on the charger. You got a little work ahead of you, but will be worth it when you're done.

thanks, the thread is excessively long since i added it to my xp29 thread, I will make adjustments to the thread so everyone knows where the RT begins.

We will figure it out Pat, this is usually our relaxing, watching what others are accomplishing... GO for it buddy!!! :)

Good deal Pat- full steam ahead now :eek:ccasion14:.

Split the front clip from the satellite today, most of it is no good but will use lower rad support and possibly left inner fender with some patching. Mainly did it to gain access to the firewalls which will be donated to the charger.image.jpg

One of the biggest things Pat is the DMV working it around right, Lots of work coming but that is a major hurtle to a build like this and im thinking the rest although a lot will be your biggest blue ribbon coming! Keep the faith bud, one step at a time its becoming another ride to be, or maybe a Mopar bride winner to be! lol... :)
Im sorry if im out of line in anyway but this project gets my juices flowing! Your getting a lot more accomplished then i am, ive been battling a nasty cold that seems to be getting the best, ill win but im not leaving my wood stoves side until things get better, that and my chicken broth.... :)

Nothing's out of line with me Ron haha, I'm glad some of you are taking an interest from the young guy (28) up here in in little Nova Scotia. I just want to build my lifelong dream car since I was a little kid. DMV bound tomorrow after work to get te title straightened away. A mopar bride winner you say lol, if I wasn't married it may help me find a potential bride haha but seems to me the female crowd around here around my age are not into muscle cars. More into European cars and high end SUVs that they can't ever Afford anyway. To each their own I suppose. Hope you can shake that cold soon Ron, nothing like metal therapy! Thanks to all for the support and to all the members who have posted detailed build threads. I would have never thought this build was possible if I had not ever seen them!

Well, when you get that car running great, you'll just have to show them females what REAL muscle cars do then drive away with you wife sittin beside you.

Great fine n keep us posted ill be watching yours n working on mine, quite a story behind car, must have been some neffie screach behind this one lol
