Paypal!!!

It's not a scam or hacked account, address is correct I have to log in to see the message, if so they already got all my mastercard info and can begin there to buy stuff! You can do nothing with my bankaccount because I have to confirm every transaction with my bank id or mobile id you can't touch it, all they say at paypal service is I have to solve the problem? Been there since 2005 whitout problem now they are going nuts

Only communicate with them after logging in to their/your actual PayPal account website.

When I see an email that says it's from PayPal, I click on that address, and the actual senders address will be displayed. If it is not PayPal, I do not click on any links provided in the email. I forward the email to [email protected] Within the day I get a response from PayPal thanking me. It has no links and asks for no personal information. It also has an explanation and indicates what they are doing about it. It's best to never click on links in suspicious emails like that. Always log in to your PayPal account as you do normally and search for any references to what you are being told in the email. If you are still not satisfied call them they do provide a telephone number on the site.

I got an Email recently informing me of a rather large transaction on my account, I exited the Email and checked my PayPal account... Nothing. It doesn't matter if it's Email, a phone call whatever, I exit and confirm. It's become way to common, happens way to often.

P/P scammer sent this to me in an email.

Anytime you need to communicate with PayPal, DO IT DIRECTLY FROM THEIR WEBSITE -
which I know you, as a savvy, smart sort of fella, has bookmarked in your browser, right?

NEVER answer ANY email from PayPal, nor ever should you click on ANY links in emails whether you trust it or not!!
Anything you need to do with them, including verifying if there's issues with the account, can be done after logging in to their website.

Just use your heads, folks. All the PayPal scams are well known and documented....

According to what email software one is using, oftentimes you don't even need to click on the address -
simply hovering over it with your cursor will show the actual origin address.
Of course, if you open up the email's details, all of that is right in there, too.

Pp addy?

I just got an email entitled "Your Paypal Account Has Been Suspended". Yeah right.

Anyone's Paypal address "should be" their email address which should also validate their account.

Sounds like you got scammed. If you sent images of your driver’s license and/or passport, I would suggest contacting your local PD and placing a flag on your credit report. If you gave out bank info, contact them too.

PayPal does ask for this kind of information overseas.PayPal is a very different animal outside of North America. When I signed up for PayPal in Japan I had to send my drivers license and Japanese bank account information. I also had to sign a paper to say I wasn’t sending money to North Korea. The only thing that is consistent is PayPal is a pain to deal with when things go wrong. Hope you get it straightened out.

I don’t understand why the pp account has to be linked to a credit card. When I opened the account, the card number was supposed to be for a one time payment. Over the years, the credit card expired, but I still have money in the pp account. I went to buy something and the sale didn’t go through, because I was not linked to a card. This pissed me off and I said fine, send me the balance. They want me to link a credit card in order to get my money? I’m done with em.

During the week, i too got one of those suspicious e mails from supposedly Pay Pal, saying they detected suspicious activity on my account, and wanted me to verify my account information.
Ya right.
I didn't open or read the e mail, and just deleted it.
I went to Pay Pal and logged into my page.
Nothing there at all from Pay Pal.
A Scam, trying to fish for my information.

everything works for me( and I'm overseas ) and I have spent thousands (3 x cars +lots of parts ) and have never had them ask me who I am, are where I'm from. all they care about is getting their money
