I've been using the same Edelbrock RPM intake for years. I thought it was THE intake to use. Now I've read some posts in the racers forum. It seems more of the fast cars are running the Holley Street Dominator than the Edelbrock I have.
I've read that these 500 inch 440 builds make so much torque, they can afford to run a single plane intake.
I'm not ready to dump the Edelbrock just yet. I'm just curious about which intake you thought was best for a 95 % street driven car. I do intend to drag race the car, but for the most part, it will continue to be used for spirited street driving.

I've run the gamut of intakes over 40 years, from TM-7, X-celerator, Torker, etc, etc. I personally prefer the Holley SD, and experience/tests have proven it to be a great intake. But for your intended use, I'd keep the Eddy & IMO not worth the change.

I have a Holley Street Dominator intake on my 451, and it works great! Only one I have tried. Mopar Muscle did an intake comparison for the big blocks, and the S.D. was one of the best all around intakes. What size engine you running?

Sorry I forgot to include that. I've been all over this board with posts about my problems with the Charger. I wrongly figured that most people have read at least one of the threads.
The engine is a 440 based 493. 10.7 compression, Edelbrock aluminum heads. I'm switching to a stout Lunati solid lifter cam with 261/271 degrees @.050 and .558/.578 lift.

In that case, you'll pick up HP with the SD. How much is the question if it'd be worth it for mostly street use.
