I purchased this for my 383 in my current '66 Ply Sat. It is a re-conditioned unit from Pertronix directly. It was slightly massaged on the bottom of the distributor housing so it would fit by a previous owner. Pertronix gets these sent back to them by frustrated and disgruntled previous owners according to their return policy. They inspect it and test it and then sell it back at a reduced price. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this unit other than I never used it and instead went with the MOPAR/FBO Electronic set up. I never had this running on my car. I am getting ready to start getting rid of all my extra parts and working towards relocating. So downsizing is a must. I am asking $156.00 plus shipping and Insurance. I prefer Pay Pal but I will accept USPS Money Orders, Personal Checks, and Bank/Cashiers Checks. The latter 2 methods will have to clear before I will ship. This is a great buy seeing as how they are $327.00 new from JEG's and Summit Racing....cr8crshr/Tuck

I can say that I am running one on my pretty much stock 70 RR 383 and I love it(flame thrower III). It is a perfect upgrade from points or cruddy MP ignition. My experience with problems people have with this dizzy is that it needs full 12 volts from ignition, so the ballast resistor has to be bypassed or it will never run right. It also has a built in rev limiter that can be changed ( if this is the flame thrower III). Just thought I would pass on my experience with them, GLWS.

Thanks for the Piggy Back on my for sale ad. Right you are too. Great bolt on and go. Some more pics and the slight messaging of the distributor base...:usflag:
