nice sounds

Yep, that's a Chrysler starting.
I had a Chevy guy stop me recently and wanted to hear my starter.
But my 318 didn't sound like Petty's engine.
I wonder why.

Larry has a squeeze bottle of fuel he primes the carb with down the vent and also the rear venturis. about an ounce or so of fuel. Cold start, no choke, yeah it cranked a bit....

1. Should've primed the cab.
2. God, lose that boat anchor of a stock heavy *** starter and get a mini, it'd go faster and lose weight too!!!

How do I make that into a ring tone?:headbang:

1. He did prime the carb, maybe he didn't hit the ignition switch till the oil pressure showed up on the gauge
2. I doubt they are going to put a mini starter on a museum piece. This was the first show outside of NC in over 12 years for this car.

Cool.
So air intake is off the high pressure cowl area.
Tubular uppers but I think I still see a torsion bar.
