Photo documentary about assemly of a 383

Hi,
i´m looking for a step by step photo documentary for an assemly of a 383 engine. cause i bought an engine it was already disassembled. hope one of you guys can help me out for an correct assembly.

You are going to get a lot of "get a service manual" type responses from this post, which is probably the best idea. But, you are in Germany which could be tough. At the very least you should get a Chilton or Haynes manual. They are not very detailed, but if you are a gearhead it can help you.

Also, many people may ask what your skillset is. If you are a newbie, it may not be advisable to try this yourself. So, find someone you can pay for it to be built. That way you aren't on your own.

Lastly, I have seen some rebuild articles on the 383 in Mopar magazines, so maybe an internet search on Hemmings, Mopar, hot rod, etc sites may get you what you need.

This may not what you want to hear, but it might make you re-think your plans.

You could probably find some good manuals for your project on ebay. I had a book some time ago called "How to Rebuild Your Small Block Mopar" and I remember that it was an excellent book for the do-it-yourselfer. I'm sure you could find something for the big blocks that would be similar. Good luck.

There is a book called "Big Block Mopar Engines" by Don Taylor. I've got it and it is great. It details pretty much everything although there are a few items of disassembly that are not pictured so unless you know where they are located on the car it could become a scavenger hunt. Check out the description on amazon it might be just what you need.
