Pics from Back in the Day

The guy that now owns my old 1 of 0 1967 Coronet R/T wagon has one of these. He bought it from the Chrysler Museum when it was closing down. Interesting guy, with two barns of stuff; a lot of it Mopars.
I drove one of those at the truck driver school I attended in 1976, used it for backing practice in the yard. Didn't have the Chrysler logo, but otherwise identical.

I just found this picture of a Challenger I built out of 2 wrecked ones. Most all the part's I needed I would go down to the dealership and they had them in stock. 318 auto, fun project.

Very cool, I went there several years back and saw a dude rolling through there in a fixer 69 road runner. Funny, maybe 6 mos-1 year later I heard a listeners letter on the flash Phelps show on serius xm from a guy in Colorado who was fixing up a 69 road runner and visiting all of the state and nat’l parks in it. I figure it musta been the same dude.
Travis..

Yeah, I lived there in Colorado Springs while stationed at FT Carson, also was a member of the Southern Colorado Mopar Club with a 71 Charger at that time

This is how we drove our jacked up cars with wide wheels in the winter, I had Pro Trac N50-15's on the back of my Charger, drove it all winter in Colorado Springs, I worked part time as hospital security while in the Army and one day driving through a blizzard to get to work, started spinning in the middle of an intersection when all of a sudden a cop cruiser with a push bar lightly bumped me through.

Just a coincidence that my R/T is from Colorado Springs (where you lived) when I bought it 1982 and that the car was ordered new from Marietta, Ohio(where you live state anyway) How it ended up in Colorado I do not know that.
