I took my Coronet for a drive today and parked up next to this German WWII U boat. It got me thinking that a great thread would be for people to post pictures of them and their cars, with cool and unique back drops. Scenery, famous landmarks or anything that's interesting.

Still have her? I've had mine up to Ont. A few times. Mine has been a very very reliable car at no cost. I was just checking out my picture. I put those tires on that car before my trip back in the summer of 1990. They are still going strong. They don't make tires like that any more. Canadian Tire Turbo Lazers 4. Note the tires.

The Volare is long gone I'm afraid. It was a 318 with an 833 4 speed overdrive. Add to that a 2.92 gear and it was no rocket. I added 60 series BFG radials and it did handle well though. I drove it to Edmonton one year and PEI another.

Very nice. Actually mine came from Tower Chrysler in Calgary. My neighbor brought it home in '85 or 86. I know they will never be worth much. But I lived my whole life around that car. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.

My So Cal '68 Barracuda 340-S car at Iowa State University in Ames, IA 1993-1997. Driven back and forth to LA every summer.

Arrived back home last time in Los Angeles after graduating. Weighed 5600 lbs loads on grain scale.
