Having a discussion at work and trying to figure out what the pictured sedan on the right is any insight would be greatly appreciated!

It's a '71 or '72 Olds Ninety Eight. I'm leaning more towards a '71.

Here's a '71

Olds made a Ninety Eight, and a Delta 88...but no Delta 98.

Dad was a YUGE Olds guy; I spent most of my formative years looking out the tailgate of a Vista Cruiser, or a Custom Cruiser...

My Mom had a '71 Delta 88 and so I automatically (and erroneously) blurted out "Delta" although it is a 98. :D

^^^X2^^^

Grandma and grandpa both worked at GM, grandpa for 31 years and grandma for 27 years. Oldsmobiles were nearly always in their driveway when I was growing up, I recall. At least (2) of them were Ninety Eights. I remember that emblem written in cursive.

Had one that was factory 455 4bbl and he drove that car for many years, and also took very good care of it!

How did it survive for many years with your winters?

Our neighbor had 1 when I was young,, we used to roll around in that big rear couch around corners

To be honest, I think the car had been done in Ziebart (under coating establishment) and do remember it having their sticker in the bottom corner of the rear window. Him or his kids were always washing and waxing that Olds quite a bit through the years. He was a military man, and had 40 years in the mechanics area, at the air guard base in Battle Creek.
