Plum Crazy Car ?

Ok I sold my fj5 limelight green 70 Road Runner last Dec and bought a 71 Road Runner In Violet or Plum Crazy in color.My 70 got alot of attention being limelight ,but boy does the 71 Plum Crazy car really draw the girls.I say girls because it attracts females from the age of 5 to 95.LOL Boy I needed this Plum car when I was 20.So do any of you other Guys with Plum Crazy cars run into this.I do everywhere I drive it....LOL'

It always drew the attention of women when new. I had a 1958 Corvette in 1970 that I painted Plum Crazy that always got a lot of attention. Most women LOVE Purple.

Well I have owned a 69,69 1/2,70,and now 71 Road Runner.I hated the 71-72 Road Runners in the mid to late 80's but after awhile they really grew on me.I have wanted a 71 for about 10 years now and finally got one.I went to the Mopar show in Belvidere IL last year and saw about 10 other limelight 1970's out of only 150 cars and said to myself its time for a 71 Runner.You just do not see many 71's production was half of the 70 model year.I would of loved to kept my 70 it was a nice car .I am not a rich man and have to swap cars around if I want something different.LOL I used to be able to afford 3 or 4 Mopars now I am lucky if I can afford one anymore.Now I have two Mopar toys...

I've only had mine for a few days but your right it draws more attention then any other color car I've been in. Lucky for me I'm 18 haha yesterday at school I had to fight off like 15 girls to get into the car this summer is going to be fun

btw nice corvette I'm sure all the chevy guys would be mad you painted it a mopar color LOL

I had a buddy in High School that had a Ford Fiesta he painted Plum Crazy Purple. We called it the "Skittle." Needless to say his car was not in the same caliber as your cars here, and by no means was it a "chick magnet." In fact, even when he wanted to junk it, the local salvage yard told him not to bother bringing it there, just cut it in three pieces and toss it in the garbage can!

Nice cars. Both colors are great but I like that 70 body style like MOPARSTUART. You dont see that lime green everyday on cars that often either.

Never had a purple car, but it is high on my list of next cars. Maybe even higher after reading this thread! LOL!

Like to see some more pictures of both your current cars. I see in your gallery you had the same problem as I had with your pictures stretching. Joey fixed that for me and can for you too.

I checked out your Gallery in FABO - You certainly have had some kick *** cars over the years! But no pictures of your 67 Cuda.

It's funny that this thread gets ressurected now. I literally just had this happen to me yesterday in the way that no one wants it too. lol. I was driving off to errands after work and took this picture of my baby;

I then pulled into a fast food joint to use the restroom before finishing up my errands and had a woman closely resembling this picture stop just shy abusing me sexually in the parking lot.

You think I'm joking. I'm not. I'm still shaking.

EEEEEEEEEVERYONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE gathers around mine ,,,be it male -female-hermaphrodite-kids-old people-dogs-farm animals.....dont matter...they stare at it in disbelief....LIKE IT WAS A U.F.O. ......I get such a charge out of sitting by the wayside and watching.......not everyday you see a purple car ya know!

I think I would have painted the 70 PLUM CRAZY. Sorry just my opinion I like the 68 through 70 body style.
