What carbs will fit the stock dual quad intake? Is it only wcfb or will something else fit? Also is this the way to go as compared to an aluminum single 4 intake on a mildly build poly 318.Two 4 s looks great, but I want more power, so is 1- 4 or 2-4s the best for a poly 318 with a hipo cam headers and electronic ignition. Also good dual exhaust.4.10 gear no stall. Thanks

The best person i know to ask, check out Gary Pavlovich website for poly info

my two cents

here is the link to gary . he is a great resource as most on that forum. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/318poly/
i have a wieland single 4 barrel intake w/ a eldlebrock 600cfm on top. also aquired a dual quad off a fury. was planning on going that route for the girlies but... adding up the $$$ parts needed to get the poly movin' , as to dropping in say a 440. i am going with the 440 now. the single four barrel can provide more then the poly will ever need to breath and be a whole lot ezr to deal with, but not the bling factor. look at the tti headers(i think they are the only game in town now,aka $$$$) and talk to gary about a hotter cam.. i am not aware of any aftermarket heads for a poly , but these engines are inexpensive , pick one up and try cleaning it up. oh and there are conversion plates to put all your aftermarket carbs on anything check out jegs, ect... if you are thinking of quadrajets i have 2 you can have for shipping... ha
