I have a 318 poly with a 727 in a 1966 Satellite. Looking to purchase a 408 stroker 375 horse. If I buy the fully dressed engine will I need a different balancer, flexplate, what else?

Contact Bruce Toth and stick with the Poly.
He can build you a big cubic inch Poly with a set of ported heads. Add a factory 2 four barrel carb intake if you like.

Whoever you are buying the engine from should be able to tell you. If it’s an internal or externally balanced engine. I don’t think I’d want to use a 54 year old balancer on a new engine.
