polygraphite vs oem suspension replace

Thanks for the clarification.

Like the previous poster said go with rubber. If the suspension hasn't been gone through in years, just installing new rubber components will make it feel different like night and day. But one thing that you may want to consider also if the car doesn't have one is a front sway bar it will help with body roll or up grade to larger one and good quality set of shocks like Bilsteins.

Thanks
James
When did poly bushings become available for the auto industry? And what did everyone do before they showed up? I already know the answer to the second question :D

...and what are they useing on the new vehicles of today?
Our 2000 Durango has poly on both sway bars and I think the rear springs has it too. The upper A arms has rubber. It does handle pretty good still even for a a 4600 lb high profile box.

LX cars all use rubber bushings I know, we sell control arms all the time to shops that maintain the highway patrol cars. I think probably 80% at least of cars today still use rubber bushings.

I can tell you that we have offered Polygraphite bushing since our start in 1984. But that is a very good question.
