The last 78 rpm record released was a re-issue of Good Vibrations / Heroes And Villains by The Beach Boys, in 2011. It was monophonic.

Even though it's not the closest planet to the sun, Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system, with an average temperature of around 863°F. Why? Venus has a thick atmosphere of mostly carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid clouds. The clouds trap heat, making Venus hot as hell. So what about Mercury, the closest planet to the sun? Well, Mercury's surface temperature ranges from incredibly hot during the day to extremely cold at night, although not as hot as Venus. Temperatures can reach highs of 800°F during the day, which is hot enough to melt lead and burn people to crisp. At night temps can drop as low as -290°F...

These dumb things people wore around their necks during Elizabethan times are called "ruffs". They were a status symbol, of course...

THIS IS CONRAD HEYER ... he is the earliest born person in the U.S. to ever be photographed. He was born in 1749, but sat for this pic in 1852 at the age of 103. While you’ve probably never seen this pic, it’s a good bet you’ve seen the famous painting that includes him. At age 27 in 1776, Conrad was a Revolutionary soldier who was in the boat with General George Washington when he crossed the Delaware River.

Hmm... and I thought you were going to say he was the first person to give the finger in a photograph.

At its deepest, the temperature is 140 degrees f. To keep cool, 6,000 tons of ice slush is pumped down each day to chill the ventilation air down to 83 degrees.
