3. Why do planes never fly over Antarctica?
Actually, there's no reason not to, now. At one time, due to the lack of any diversionary airports, flights didn't go that way because most modern aircraft have only two engines and ETOPS rules prevented it. But since 2011, new rules allow flights up to 330 minutes away from an airport, so there are now some Qantas flights that fly over. (ETOPS = Extended-range Twin-engine Operations Performance Standards)

6. Why haven't we gone back to the moon?
After Neil Armstrong, the USA did go back...five more times. Six were launched, but we know what happened to the Apollo 13 mission. And three more were planned, but budget cuts prevented NASA from doing so.

The Pikes Peak Summit House is famous for its donuts.

The new machine, the highest fryer in North America producing more than 500,000 donuts a year, meets Living Building Challenge (LBC) guidelines that specify requirements to positively impact the place, community, and culture of the project. Aramark will be using the same donut recipe that has been passed down since 1916, which only works at the 14,115-foot elevation or higher.

Questions To Ask Ourselves:
1. What is an Egyptian pyramid doing on a US dollar bill?
2. Why did 56 countries sign a treaty not to take risks and enter Antarctica?
3. Why do planes never fly over Antarctica?
4. How did NASA "lose" the photos of the moon landing, one of the most important moments for humanity?
5. If Neil Armstrong was the first to walk on the moon, who held the camera?
6. Why haven't we gone back to the moon?
7. If monkeys evolved into humans, why are there still monkeys?
8. Why does 95% of our DNA exist as "junk"? Who decided it was actually "garbage"?
9. How were huge, symmetrical, detailed, sacred, and geometrically regular structures such as cathedrals and parliamentary buildings created by people who lived in log cabins, rode horse-drawn carriages, and had no machines or lasers?
10. How is it that similar pre-Columbian architecture is found all over the world?11. Why are there images in ancient Egyptian art that resemble "spaceships"?
12. Why were remains and images of giant people found? And why do different ancient scriptures from various cultures, including the Bible, talk about giants?
13. Why are there images of mushrooms in ancient Christian art? And why does the Pope dress up like a giant Amanita muscaria mushroom?
14. Why do ancient Egyptian artworks show jaws, and is it a coincidence that the pineal gland resembles jaws?
15. Why are there descriptions of dragons all over the world and in different cultures, thousands of years apart, and also mentioned in the Bible?16. Why is there so much blatant satanic symbolism in the music and entertainment industry?
17. Why do most video games revolve around killing?
18. How is it possible that movies and cartoons like The Simpsons can predict certain cultural events so accurately?
19. How do forest fires melt cars but leave trees intact?
20. What is the national debt? If there is a borrower, there must also be a lender: who is it?
21. How is it that the so-called "national debt" has increased despite tax increases? Where does the taxpayer's money go?
22. Why is alcohol and tobacco poisoning considered "normal" and referred to simply as "drinking" and "smoking"?
23. Why are alcohol and tobacco shown in almost all shows and movies?
24. How do news presenters around the world and on various channels say and repeat the same script word for word?25. If we are more progressive and informed than ever before, why do we have the highest rates of obesity, cancer, and heart disease, not to mention depression?
25. If Jesus was Jewish, why does he have a Puerto Rican name?

I'm a geologist and I don't know any geologist that thinks the Grand Canyon was caused by Noah's Flood. Water cutting through soft volcanic ash is a lot different than billions of years of sandstone. The Grand Canyon is simple. Look at the Colorado River at the bottom. I've watched those Answers in Genesis videos. I'm sorry but they're lying to you.

Dinosaurs weren't on the ark.

They didn't discover Lot's wife.

They haven't discovered the Ark of the Covenant.

They're just making big claims for money.

Here's how plate tectonics works. The plates slide around over time. Sometimes they crash into one another like a car crash and buckle. Himalayas. Sometimes one plate slides under another. California. It goes deep and melts then causes an uplift further east. Our western mountains. Once uplifted erosion wears them back down. Easy, Peasy. The difficult part is for humans to wrap their brains around the time scales involved.

The world has suffered from four mass extinctions over the past 4.5 billion years......not one of those makes mention of an old geezer bobbing around the water with a boatload of random pairs of animals.

Well, I passed though New Mexico but only while on my Route 66 trip in 2007. There wasn't much of a reason to return to the state as I know nobody there.

Here on the Front Range of the Rockies there's a great example. The Rocky Mountains were uplifted once before, that's called orogeny. They were worn down creating great sheets of sandstone sliding east to a great inland sea. Then a second orogeny occurred tilting those SS beds upright. No one can believe SS was deposited like this in Colorado Springs. Our planet is amazing!

I had it last night and was disappointed as usual. The place is like the "easy" chick that is always open and rarely ever satisfying.

Was part of that carving due to the melting of the Ice Age sheet that covered most of USA and above? Also, I thought that the Grand Canyon used to be underwater.
Ice and water are more destructive than most would believe.

Yeah, it’s in Chihuahua state. We had never heard of it, either. We took a tour there and really enjoyed it. In the valley in the photo the local aboriginals live, much like they have for centuries. A very different existence than what we are used to. Anyway, at one point our tour group is on this goat trail on a cliff and it’s literally a half mile, straight down. I was freaking terrified. A few of the local aboriginal girls are tagging along, perhaps eight or ten years old. Bored with our progress they scramble around us, on a trail no more then three feet wide with no handrails or safety stuff. At one point they grab a tree branch on the cliff edge and swing around it like a stripper pole, a half mile straight down. We all nearly had a heart attack.
That night we were having supper on the hotel patio, perched on the cliff edge. It actually hangs over the cliff so that when you look down there is nothing under you for a half mile. At one point this little girls head pops up and asks if we want to buy pine needle baskets. How she got to be there we have no idea.

2 neat things I've read about when I started getting into gold history etc was the Carlin trend in NV and the black hills outcrop. I actually walked right into the mine in lead SD lol. THEY WERENT HAPPY. WHO TF ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU HERE.
After we calmed them down a nice gentleman geologist who's father had worked there when it was an active mine, showed us around!
