POTENTIAL E-mail Scammer-please read and maybe BEWARE!

uhh oh, sounds a little fishy, I also got a reply saying "let me know if your still looking for......." from an egford aka mreugeneford also with an e-mail link I am looking for hood inserts for a 1972 Road Runner. I tried to respond using the link but got an e-mail error couldn't send so replied though here as I will reply to all mail from now on. dang was really hoping I'd found the inserts I'm looking for, also had 1 other responce to my post hope it works out.

I'm new to all of this I'm looking for some hood inserts so I signed up and put out a posting, I also got a reply from this guy/gal I tried to send a reply using the link but got an error message, hopping that means end of story for any potential problems with the link. Thanks for the lesson learned, I will no longer try to do any communications through any links.

"Yes, i have a Stage V-B head for sale in excellent shape and

I should reply "Send me some pics of the head,and a phone number where you can be reached..." and see where that leads. This could turn into a fun game. Too bad I'm going to be without a computer for a couple of days(today and tomorrow) while I get some upgrades. Maybe ask for HIS address so I can "...check out the head in person...",plus see how his ol' lady gives...oh,never mind.

Same here. Posted for a crossmember for 65 belvedere. I emailed him. Hopefully he wont get me.

He replied with the same old "I don't have any pictures but you can Western Union the money to me and I will ship it right out" I replied asking if he would take cash or did he just want my bank account # so he could take out what he thought it was worth out at his liesure.
