Power loss issue

I am stumped by an issue I have with my '65 Coronet. When I connect the battery, I have full power to all my accessories (lights, wipers, radio, etc). As soon as I turn the key in the ignition, i get a clunk, the car doesn't start, and power coming from the battery is killed. I disconnect the battery, reconnect it, and it does the same thing. Rinse, wash, repeat.
The battery is new and has a good charge.
The Ignition switch is brand new.
The negative cable is new and well grounded.
Any suggestions? Starter? Starter solenoid?

Clean the battery cables at the battery end. Bad connection, will flow enough for small draws, but not the starter.

Or you have a bad cable on either end. Both cables flow the same amount of electricity, so they are a team and both are equally important.

If it looks clean it doesnt mean it clean. Ive been down this same road. Sand paper or wire brush everything.

I think I’d be checking the resistance with an ohm meter of both of the battery cables, and the wires going from the starter to the starter relay and the wire going from the relay to the ignition switch. Also check the connection at the bulkhead connector.
