I hope it works! With parts sourced from my junk box I did a little thinking, machine work and welding and managed to stuff all this modern electronic mumbo-jumbo into a factory HEMI Prestolite. I know Pertronix makes a module for this but the OE Chrysler electronic hardware was such a close fit, and it was handy, so I couldn't resist taking it to completion. Getting the reluctor / rotor phasing correct took a couple of tries but I think I got it. With any luck I didn't miss anything and it will fire the first try - otherwise back to the drawing board (or points).

What did you have to weld? That looks like it is all supposed to be together. nice work.

Thanks. The vac advance lever needed a new attaching point and one breaker plate tab needed to be extended. It took longer to check and double check everything than to do the actual work.

Excellent, looks like it was meant to be. How did you attach the reluctor to the shaft?

Thanks. I used the factory electronic shaft on the original Prestolite main shaft but had to turn it down. Then I cut off the end and put a flat where the rotor goes. In one of the pics you may be able to see the small change in diameters. To make sure everything lined up I took an old cap and cut some windows in it so I could see what was going on.
