Pretty cool to shoot half empty spray cans......

Years ago I had half a case of dynamite that a guy gave me. Shot it a few sticks at a time and had a lot of fun. The first time I was too close and nearly burst a lung from the shock wave. Years later a friend bought a shop that had several big cans of ether for starting tractors. These weren’t the small cans like you buy at the gas station, these were big; like at least a quart. Soaked a bunch of moss with gas, lit it, placed a can of ether nearby and backed off to shoot. Made a huge fireball like what you would see in the movies. Another time buddy strapped several pounds of tannerite to a tree and shot it. Vaporized the section of tree and sent debris an astonishing distance. A short time later a helicopter flew over, the shock had triggered the seismic sensors on a buried gas pipeline and they were sent out to investigate. We saw nothing, heard nothing…

I guess the wife would take a pic or two next time.
Empty cigarette lighters innocently tossed in a charcoal BBQ are always good for a laugh.
Done that lots of times.....my X was fully afraid of me doing that even after seeing/hearing it. My present wife loves it lol. Last night sitting around the cut down beer keg fire pit, I dropped in one of those extended lighters when it quit working and it made both of us jump when it went off. Dropped it in on the edge and it took awhile to get hot.
Guy at work would throw 12 ga shot gun shells into the melters. A melter holds 2500lbs of molten bronze. A little dangerous ya think.
Back in the mid 60's a buddy and I used to tape a bb to the primer and made thin carboard flights for it. Funny looking dart but it worked. Did several of them before his dad noticed the box wasn't as full as he remembered lol
Surprised your not playing with tannerite out there Cranky!
The thought crossed my mind!

Oh wow lol. Cops showed up years ago after I blew up a 2 liter pop bottle with compressed air. It was a lot louder than I expected. When the cops showed up, all I said was 'yeah, I heard it too.....' and they left.

One idiot friend of mine tossed a CO2 cartridge from a pellet gun into a campfire. Everyone vacated the area but nothing happened for a good while. We'd almost forgot about it when it finally exploded, that was quite a bang.
