Leah's never put a mark in it or been stuck in the almost 8 years she's had it. Car still as new..I enjoyed the snowbank comment, my wife thought the awd magnum R/T was a snowmobile! I plated it "HEMISLED" after her offroad trail making! had to take her to a snowy parking lot turn off traction control and let her see how much the car was saving itself and she was driving beyond the tires abilities!
View attachment 1797409 I don't bullshit or try to sugar coat things, my friends just bought me a hat. I calls them like i see's them!
This was one of mine.....View attachment 1797457
During the plandemic, my coworkers wife was making masks. He had her make me one that said “Danhole”, and presented it to me at the morning safety meeting.
Oh man....been there done that including the bait and switch deal. On the B&S deal, I asked the sales ahole for his card....actually asked for several of them but he only gave me one. Said that's ok because I'll make copies and hand them out to all I could to avoid you! Had another sales ahole that asked me why I wanted a 'blue' truck. I stopped walking while he continued to walk. He finally stopped and turned around and that's when I said that I didn't want a sky blue pink one and left. I'm about to go to the new car stealerships just to fork with them!A friend of mine went to one of the Dodge stores in his city to order a new Challenger. During the purchase process, he found he needed some additional information/paperwork that he had left in his office. When he returned, he pulled up and parked in front of the showroom window, knowing that he was only going to be there momentarily to drop off the needed information. A salesman immediately came out to tell him he could not park there. My friend tried to explain the situation, but this jerk would have no part of it. He said to move his f@@king car right now!
My friend obliged by climbing back into his car and moving it to another Dodge dealer, and buying his new Challenger there. He called the salesman at the first dealership that he had been working with, from there, to cancel his purchase, and told him one of sales buddies had cost him the deal. A few days later, when he returned to the second dealership to pick up his new Challenger, he parked outside the showroom window. His salesman came out and said he could not park there! When he looked up, the entire showroom staff was on the other side of the window, laughing. Bad news travels fast.
How old are you man! lol I got some stories when I was doing engines and rear ends. Geez....the list is long!THANK YOU!!!!!!
You've pretty much summed up a typical day of what I do for a living.
Considering my current age, I wonder how long I'm going to continue.....
All it takes is all you got!Considering my current age, I wonder how long I'm going to continue.....
If you were seen talking to your wife by phone, the police here would be issuing you a very expensive ticket for distracted driving. Plus points against your driver’s licence. I have absolutely no idea what the laws are South Carolina. My wife done the exact same thing @dadsbee wife done to the T. My wife went to a well known dealer here in town and was very specific what type Challenger she wanted. Of course they showed her everything on the lot. She told the salesman she didn’t want his stock.
She explained that she wanted to order her car because it was a birthday gift to herself.
Well they go back to the showroom to his cubicle to talk about financials. She tried to tell him she didn’t need his financing that she was paying cash. Well some smart *** in the other cubicle says, she’s not going to by a car from you Jimmy. Carter that is, no sheet.
My wife stood up and said, you’re right and walked out.
She went down to another town and ordered her car.
When she got the phone call that her car was delivered and ready for pick up we drove down to pick it up. On the way home I was following her and she merged the wrong way on the interstate. I called her and ask where was she going and her reply to me was I’m going to Dodge land. I just said oh crap. She pulled right up front and wouldn’t you know it, here comes Jimmy. She rolled the window down and said your buddy just cost you a $40,000 dollar car sale. Sounds familiar doesn’t it Wayne @dadsbee View attachment 1797039

My truck has hands free phone. So did her new car.If you were seen talking to your wife by phone, the police here would be issuing you a very expensive ticket for distracted driving. Plus points against your driver’s licence. I have absolutely no idea what the laws are South Carolina.
My wife’s cousins husband, brother and MIL were hit on a bright sunny day by a teenage girl blew a stop sign while talking on her cell phone. The brother and MIL died at the scene. Cousin-in-law lived, but is a very nervous as a passenger to this day.
Another acquaintance who had a 67 Coronet 500 hit another young woman broadside when she blew a stop sign while talking on her phone. He was driving a small GM Astro van. Paralyzed from the waist down. Sold his 500 and I have his very nice trunk finish panel and emblem to sell for him.
I think that is the closest to a snowbank it will ever get!
Guess you haven't seen our laneway lately...I think that is the closest to a snowbank it will ever get
Love it!
I was taught to raise your words, not your voice. Most always, it's the first to lose control and start yelling that loses the argument. My brother tells me containly, it's rain that grows flowers, not thunder. I will say, that I have been known to ruin a persons day and to much rain will drown a flower. Moderation.I had a bad dealing with, a bad product
(bad camshaft & lifters, someone listed early on here)
he didn't stand by his word or his product he was pushing/selling
supposed to be the expert (debatable on that fact too)
& horrible customer service, got ignored & had lots of lame excuses, spin/lies
instead of fixing the issues & problems his co. created
(some health issues IIRC, that's still no way to do business)
It was a while ago now,
Now, I never will buy anything or listen to anything from him ever again
being a;
"he's not good on a phone" or "he has a hard day or a busy day"
doesn't mean ****, in customer service on a bad product
his fault/his suppliers or not, that's part of doing business, you deal with it
good or bad it's your reputation at stake
you don't take it out on, "other customers", that's stupid & lame, really bad business...
A bad reputation can kill you "really quick" that way
especially with the -www- & forums like this, where people share the experiances
or product quality etc.
Some other 'pricks' too,
a caveat when you deal with the public
"Customer's always right", unless they are a prick & causing a ripple effect
other wise if you are in business, it's the mantra to live by
or you won't be in business long, rightly so
