I need to amend my post, it was a bit harsh. It's more accurate to describe him as "curt". I've talked to Dave several times over the years, including today, and he's definitely not a chit-chatter. And he doesn't suffer fools gladly, so you need to have a good idea of what you want before calling. Don't just say that you want a stroker kit, have the part number handy so he can look it up.Dave Hughes can be a real prick. He has zero customer service skills. Very surprising since it's his business.
If you get a hold of Tom its a better experience.
And for sure, don't call up asking for 'a cam that will make 500 hp'. That conversation will go south real quick.
Talked to Dave today and he was cordial and even said 'thanks for calling' before hanging up.
I'll double-down on Tom. Ordered my stroker kit with him today and he's pleasant to deal with.

Phone etiquette: I do not want to know how much you love your car, what color it is, how long you have owned it, who owned it, etc. Just the facts: weight with driver, engine size, goal, budget, etc.
