a .22 Colt Challenger and a .22 bolt action rifle but the best part was a 12ga sawed off shot gun. The wife shot too but needs more instruction. Just glad she hit the target instead of the rear overhead door. It already has 3 holes in it from years ago from some ahole that was told to not rapid fire a semi auto. He never shot here again after that. Anyways, the shot gun was fun but didn't expect the kick from a 00 BK load. The box came from a friend and it was mixed and didn't notice that lol. Being a machinist, should have checked! Didn't fire the shot gun until after the .22's knowing that the shot gun would pretty much obliterate the target and well, it pretty much did. Btw, the shot gun is still legal but barely.

Indoor range? Very fancy. :)
Mine is outdoors only and is set up for anything up to just shy of 300 yards; owning the ridge behind it makes for a nice
backstop. I've invited friends and the local county cops out to plink in the past, although it's mostly just me nowadays.
I've cut down owned calibers to 22LR, 9mm, 30-30, 5.56 and 12ga over time after the "great ammo shortage" days.
I actually tolerate shotgun recoil better than that from the AR15 - the bark from that thing really messes with my tinnitus,
regardless of hearing protection.

I remember this! Good ol' Chi Chi even makes a shot to the nads look cool.

My wife will shoot with me oftentimes and I call her Annie Oakley - her accuracy with my old 357mag revolver
frankly embarassed me back in the day (her eyesight in those days was better than mine at 25 yards).
She does not care for either shotgum or AR, but she'll wear it out with her own 9mm pistols!

I was on the Villanova pistol team on the mid 1970s. I was hit by two ricochets back then, that I shot. One in the lip and one in the chest. Both hurt like heck.

Wow. My target is made of wood and have several layers. Once used up, they go into the burn pit. One time when the target should have been retired, I got a bounce back from the steel plate backup. The bullet lost it's energy and landed at my feet.
Lots of nut cases out there lol. I do put some thought into the things that I do even though I sound like a nut case lol
