Progress on my Road Runner.

Well, it's been almost a year since I sent the car to Atlanta (from So-Cal) with my best friend. He repaired and repainted the car. I've been rehabbing and collecting all the parts to reassemble it. It's ready to return (his wife wants it out of the garage) whenever I can go get it. Looks like a road trip in the near future.

I went to Atlanta last week and brought the Road Runner back to California. Stopped by Gas Monkey Garage along the way.

Sweet. Love the slots. They have become my favorite. Nothing to do with them being on my RR. Lol

As fate would have it, I actually found a set of slotted aluminum Indy wheels off a 69 GTX locally. The guy had just had them polished and decided to go back to Magnum 500s.

Pulled the hood off and been working on the air grabber vents and emblems. I'll be installing the air box next. The gaskets from Detroit Muscle are nice, better than factory in my opinion.

Beat up Air Grabber has been removed, I've been cleaning and prepping it for reinstall.

Beat up Air Grabber has been removed, I've been cleaning and prepping it for reinstall. All done, just need to adjust the cable that opens the flaps, add the Air Grabber decal and it's ready to go back n the car. (as soon as i get the engine back in).

Next up, get the 383 prepped and ready for install. New clutch installed, Hooker headers have been Hi-Temp coated.

Got sidetracked making up a pair of leaf spring stiffeners. Replaced the shocks with KYBs (fronts were dead), received the new Bendix booster and master cylinder. Decided against leaving the Pioneer 8 track/FM in the car. The Goodmark headlight surrounds arrived. Chugging along.
