This is what I usually do-if it’s a cigarette that’s been laying on the ground on thr shop or in a astray that’s looks pretty okay somewhat I’ll pick it up and smoke it like this.
What I’m really good at is what I want to make for a engine shop one day….
taking apart engines..
that’s what I like doing and what I know doing compared to building one..
I know alittle but still not wanting to build one without my dads help..
Taking down a engine makes me ponder after about it when chilling out with beer cigs and a good warm blunt… all my ideals tonight was tonight… and that’s what I enjoy doing is drifting through different thoughts when pondering about a engine instead of negativity or political stuff on for b bodies..
I’m glad I’m back out in th shop but iam drinking thou on the job so everything is going slow as y’all can tell..
If I was a engine shop I’d say people starting our who aren’t qualified like I am begin to learn taking apart the engine….. i learn so much and especially my dad letting me drink while doing it.
That’s pretty cool natural artwork that shows so many ideals. The natural world works wonders with gravity and molecular structure-one of the purest form of artwork is photography of earths gravity at work.
that their is more alien drawings I’ve found of a celestial visitation where they the white lines came from space to thr green planet of bora-bora. It’s a antifreeze droplet with light and oil cool artwork sight.
This ole puller is a piece of engineering marvel. It’s been there through thick in thin for me and dad over the years.
This reed I wouldn’t sell this for a 1000 dollars it’s so rare. Someone told me never to restore paint a old tool because it decreases in value. My dad has a old machine table with a late 1800s vice. I messed up and painted it long time ago when I restored the machine table.
This is that 1800s vice that I restored years ago when I restored the machine table that was rusted out. We rarely use it.
I restored a old 1930s ventilation fan I have to show sometime. It’s dangerous because it’s has no front gaurd so we don’t use it usually because of bosco.
but I was working on a front safety shroud but messed up on it and wanted to do a different design. I’ll show the thing I welded together but it came out wrong. Really you can see it at the camaro pictures at for e bodies.
this new pulley set had been through so much with me and dad. I have to figure something out because dad asleep and i forgot it turns over so I’m probably going to break and drink a few and smoke and chill and might go to sleep.
Figured out I can use the tri piece in the puller set like I did with the 383 I forgot about.
This is the easiest way to get one off when not stuck. And the 1967 threads are fine. I made sure not to mess up the threads.. it’s about 1/16 to 1/8 smaller than the crank bolt hole.
This is the when I understand I got a fair deal not a great deal. The bowl with the odd hole is really a pre 1970 center 350 cfm bowl. The idle mixture screw was corroded at one time and someone tried to drill it out it seems.
the base is ruined that’s a 150-200 dollars new.
the bowl is ruined that’s 150 dollars.
One bowl doesn’t have a float either.
And another problem is a broken off bolt.
I’m sending them off next week to the same guy to trade or to restore.
The main value here is 1971 date correct for assembly line date codes.
they didn’t make much six pack cars.
this matches the famous 1971 cuda six pack car they made only a 113 of in 1971. They only made total around 28000 cudas and barracudas in 1971.
I have a 1971 block that I want to match this with. havent taken a picture but the 1971 440 has been gone through-it has 10 over rod bearings-meaning the crank has been turned.
this is most likely a 40 over block. It does have the a code-it’s was .20 over from factory.
I paid my first bills in my entire life yesterday and I’m 30 years old next month yesterday and did my first banking statement check with my dads register ever since I worked yesterday.
My dad wants me to learn to watch how much money he’s got and how much he can spend-no red and in the black like usual.. we have 1900 to spare this month..
we have been in the red pen thou because of me.
my dad says a bad month is when he has to transfer from savings his chevelle money that’s a indicator of stopping his trust with his card.
I’ll take pictures of the 0.10 bearing tonight. Dad doesn’t want me to take the crank and rods out just yet because someone didn’t number them appropriately when putting the rods back inside the engine and we aren’t ready to send the engine off to walnut Mississippi yet to have it restored.
8 is in the right place. 1 is. 3 it’s two 3s it seems 2 3 stamped rods I forgot but will take pictures.. whoever built this engine didn’t do that well of a job.
