I think this is the original steering wheel that has never been removed. Car is originally a Satellite Sebring Plus slapstick auto. Trying to figure out where to attach my wheel puller to remove it. It doesn't look like there is enough room to slip the puller arms between the back of the wheel and the steering column itself. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

Mark

Don't use the claws kind puller, need to remove the center cap of steering wheel, and will find the threated holes for the bolt kind puller

not a Mopar, but same procedure

Yup....don't even think about using claws on a steering wheel! If you need to, get a repair manual for the car you're working on because the info is there....

And notice that the picture shows a harmonic balancer puller... it only costs about $5 more and you can use it to pull both harmonic balancers AND steering wheels (2-bolts). It's a piece of cake. There is one spline on the male end of the shaft & female hole in the wheel that line up so the steering wheel will only go back on one way. You will see it if you look.

Found the correct puller and wheel is off, appreciate the advice!
