again details matter lol . that was back in 2004 I think mine came out to 9.8 now that I think about it. it was a 1965 Chrysler 300L had to be careful with the total timing for pinging. it was a heavy car.Oops. I used 4.28.

Expensive CUSTOM piston.Yes I read post 3, i understand you need a dome piston with open chamber heads, but with a closed chamber head can't you just use a flat top piston and maybe deck the block or mill the head, how do you get a good quench though without getting to much compression, that may not be possible I have read you can run more compression with aluminum heads though

(Pretty much anything other than a cast rebuilder piston for a 413 will be custom, ..... and expensive.)
