Question about the trunk

The 65 trunk pictured is an unrestored California Belvedere convertible that still has the Goodyear Power Cushion whitewall spare, the jack packed as original, and the jacking instructions on the trunk lid.

I love seeing those originals in detail like this.
Notice the position of the spare tire which is unique to the convertible. The closed cars mounted the spare under the package shelf.
FYI: The 65 Satellite and Coronet 500 came standard with a spare tire cover that matched the trunk mat.​

Yeah sorry about that i was too tired to think about mentioning the year. It is a 69' Roadrunner clone. Thanks for the help so body color is correct good to know.

Propwash that's what I'm leaning towards for those reasons. I was looking at the handful of trunk shots i saw and a good portion were undercoated grey or black.

my first new car was a 68 rr. hemi/4spd. i had 5 or 6 cars before that. the hemi up here was a 1000. to a 2,000. option up here, ca.

thats where i want to go back to, but i have a coronet, same family. and it is just about a hemi car. about another week or two. and both their trunks are/were body colour.

check this photo out, this is my unrestored 1964 aluminum nose max wedge, if you look at the wheel well you can even see some of the red primer under the grey trunk paint..
