Hi guy's,

Did anyone run a mechanical secondary carb on 1 to 1 ratio instead of the normal 40 or 60% ratio?
If so, what ar the advantages and or disadvantages?

Bought a new Quick fuel carb that has this option, but have no experience with it.

I believe the 1 to 1 ratio is more for drag racing were you have a lot of stall in the torque converter and the car tends to be driven at full throttle.
For the street stick to the progressive linkage.

It probably depends on the car and how it is set up. I drive mostly on the street and found the 1:1 to be the most responsive, but I have a low gear ratio and manual. It is not difficult to change. You could try on your set up to see how it responds.
