I was hoping someone could answer this quick question on MP distributor. It would help me understand how the advance works. If the allen screw in the advance was turned clockwise, is this opening the advance for faster/more curve? And what would happen if it was opened (turned clockwise) to much... how would the car run? Thanks
 
I'm just gonna reinforce the reference to the Diamondback engines "white paper". That has really good info. I know after reading that I had a better understanding of the timing issues. It led me to experiment with some changes and I was able to dramatically improve the way my car runs.
