We're all painfully aware of all the parts/labor shortages and backorders due to the recent 'climate'...but now I can't find a bottle of sriracha sauce?? ("Sirachee" as my friend Emeril calls it) Luckily for me a buddy from the restaurant biz snagged me some, so I'll be okay for awhile, but damn!
Some of you may not have even heard of this stuff, it's an Asian hot chili sauce that goes good on most anything.
Okay rant over........

There is a company local to me that makes it. They are in hot water, (and legal trouble) with the 200 or so residents of the small 95% industrial town where they are located.
You can smell that stuff for miles!
Edit: looked at your pic again.... that's the stuff, and the company! In Irwindale, just down the street from the dragstrip.
I haven't smelled it for quite a while. Either they are controlling the smell MUCH better.... or they are shut down.
Yes, really! Lol.

Huh...allrightythen! Thanks for the insight.

I like it spicey at times too...
I have to be careful when cooking for my dad at the same time

when I do my lunches, I like to add some zest/spice

dinners not so much

I haven't had too many things I can't get...
for a smaller rural community not too shabby

there's a market down the way a bit Twain Harte market
has a lot/great selection of specialty condiments

Good stuff, I love it.

I seem to recall, not long ago hearing on the news that there was to be a shortage of that stuff. I forget what there was/is a shortage of. Probably the peppers.

Honestly, I have not encountered these "shortages" that the MSM has been projecting. Not once. It is all BS as far as I can tell. Lets scare them more like we did with the pandemic, and cause more stress within each household.
I have not, not once seen these "shortages" in real life. I do all the shopping for my family.

You know its hot when you sit on the toilet the next morning, and your poop-chute goes down for a drink.

You know it’s hot when you sit on the toilet the next morning…
I like spicy myself too. Your response reminds me of my father-in-law who was a nut for all things spicy. God rest his soul. But he’d be eating something really spicy and sweat profusely. Then he’d chase it with a bowl of ice cream. The next morning he’d be yelling while on the toilet “come on ice cream”! In hopes it would cool things off down there.

That's why ice cream should be eaten right
after imbibing in the hot sauce.....
I don't know if that really works. Might give it a try next time.

Get used to it....its called the new norm....

I have to admit, I had to look up the word "imbibing" before hitting the like button lol

I like hot and I really like spicy...

...but that stuff is too onion-y for me.

Yep it does with just about any HOT Spicy concoction. It is the lactose in Milk products that neutralizes the Capsicum Oils that Peppers have. It coats and absorbs it to neutralize it. Those that drink Water only spread it mos so and then??? Well it can rip you a new A-Hole. I use it quite a bit in soups, and my Chili in place of Tabasco which I also use. Some of the other Hot Sauces out there I have but for the most the two I just mentioned are my G0-To's when whipping up some grubbage...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
