well, set up switch on drill press and drilled out the retaining pin, works great and didn't have to chase down a lock smith!

Thats the way to do it!

My ignition has all the tumblers stuck open, so any key will work. The key for the doors is missing so I'm looking for a complete set.

Where did you get your ignition lock? The only ones for our cars that I'm seeing is on ebay and no complete sets, just ignition. I might have to go used.

If your key use to fit the door locks? Remove door lock and take it to locksmith. If you have an old dealership nearby they may have a key cutter.

I don't have a key for the doors. At a last resort, I could take the door locks and ignition to the locksmith, have him key them all the same. Quite simple when you have an assortment of pins and a key machine. Hard to tell what they get now days but it could be expensive.

Googled cost of making a car key $40 to $100 and more $25 per lock. So if you re move ignition lock and unstick pins and compare the pins for your door locks you could only need one key made. Then just duplicates made at $2 each.

I put a new ignition switch in my 64, so, of course, the new key wouldn't work on my door locks.
There's a post on the site, talking about re-setting lock pins, to make the new key work. Used it as a guide. On the 64 locks, no pins...but blades, or tumblers, and opening each lock, only took swapping 2-3 of those blades around, to make the new ignition key work on the door locks. Just need the blades to clear the slot in the lock body, when the key is in.
Need to be careful, to keep track of parts, since those blades are spring loaded. But, not all that hard, if the locks are in good shape. Did the same thing on the console, and glovebox locks. Had a few spares to work with.
