Remote mirror location 69 Roadrunner

Does anyone know where the remote mirror adjustment control mounts to the door on driver side?

I'm not sure if my project car had one but as Im reassembling it, I bought one. I mounted the mirror but can't figure out where the cable end goes. I'm wondering if the door wasn't drilled for one although I would thing all the doors should have been drilled, then plugged if not used.

I appreciate the help, as always...

It is not easy to get the control centered when close to the adjustment position used. Good luck and keep us posted.

Still, I'm surprised the factory didn't drill and plug for that option.
