I need to replace the windshield dash vents on my 69 Super Bee. Its my understanding that I need to remove the windshield in order to get the dash loose and get at the dash vents. Are the dash screws visible once the windshield is removed? How accessible will the dash vents be with the winshield removed and dash screws taken out? Is this something that is pretty straightforward once the winshield is removed, as I've never done something like this. Is there any pictures or diagrams of the windshield and dash removal? Or a tutorial?

TIA for the help!!

The vents are held in from underneath by 4 nuts. At least they are on my 68 charger. I just snapped a picture on my phone. When i get in front of the computer i will post it. But i dont see where it will be necessary to remove the whole dash. Unless you cant get under it.

Same thing with my Super Bee, 4 bolts/nuts from underneath. I'm definitely keep to remove/replace the dash vents from underneath instead of removing the dash. If possible from underneath, I look forward to seeing how to do it please.

Yes you can replace vents from underneath without removing the dash. But getting them out with the windshield in probably isn't gonna happen.

And the dash vents are in!!!!! No need to take the windshield out, I was able to slip them in with no problem. Tomorrow I will finish it up with the bolts and vent tubing.

So glad I didn't waste the effort removing the windshield.
