Hello All
Being a new owner of a Hemi engine I wanted to have a look at the spark plugs. I tried to remove the spark plug wires and they will not budge. I didn't want to pull on the wires really hard for fear I would pull the wires out of the spark plug boot.

There isn't any room to insert any type of spark plug "puller" tool down the rocker cover. Am I missing something here or is there a trick in removing the spark plug wires? I couldn't even turn or twist the wires loose from the plugs.

Thanks for your help!

The outter tube cover is attached to an plastic insulator. Pull on the tube cover should come off. You could pull on insulator by getting under tube cover, I wouldn't use pliers on insulators.
Heat kinda glue them to plug.

Fran thank you for the info, much appreciated.

when you install them again, put some dielectric grease on the spark plug boot and use a Qtip to coat the inside of the boot, it will stop them from being stuck to the spark plug again

Yep, I'm another converted fan of using anti-seize on the spark plug threads and dielectric
grease in the boot ends. Just makes life easier next time.

Hopefully #7 is not next to power take booster.
If lt is contact me before you take booster off .

To everyone who responded. Thank you very much for the info and tips. I’m hoping to get at it this week end.
