I see buttons available, but I am curious how someone is getting the old one off and putting the new one on. I am good with tackling on my own, just looking for advice to minimize damage in my attempt to remove that little pin.

I did mine for my 68 RR and it was easy. I also was concerned about the removal/replacement of the pin. I actually used a 4d finish nail that I flattened the end of and it worked fine! You should be able to do it with no worries. ruffcut

Tap carefully. The pin is only pressed into the plastic of the rocker so there isn't that much resistance BUT you have to back it up with something - a very small socket works.

So what year/make/model is this and 2 or 3 speed wiper?

The car is my 68 Hemi GTX

FYI ... 2-spd and 3-spd do NOT use the same rocker. If someone is selling repops, make sure its for the 3-spd. You can modify the 2-spd to work but its not as easy as a straight swap.

What's the source for the new rockers??

Thanks, Good to know. I may end up just buying a new switch. Classic industries sells a kit with all new chrome knobs. It does not specify 2 or 3 spd wiper
