Does anybody know where I can get replacement VIN tags for my 62 Savoy? Not sure how many it should have but, only one left is in the driver door.

That is the only Vin tag and you won't get it reproduced AFAIK.
Other tag is the fender tag located on drivers inner fender, behind battery.
AG Backeast can reproduce the tag but you would need supporting paperwork (title, buildsheet or IBM card from Chrysler historical).
The SO number is on the radiator support and parcel shelf.

No fender tag, just a rivet and a dime size piece of rust. Local insurance provider is stamping a new vin tag. They agreed to it because I still have the original, have owned the car 7yrs, and have paperwork from previous owner of 35yrs. It will be the same number as original.

If the VIN is still on the driver side door jamb, why do you need another? That is the correct location for it and the only one that needs to be on your car.

It is held on by glue and faith right now. The rivets are still there but the metal is rotted away, if it goes missing I am screwed.

Driver side door post VIN on 62 was not riveted, but spot welded through two holes in VIN plate.

It has rivets, same kind as on fender tag location. Correct or not they are there. Can not see any trace of a spot weld, too much glue. Now I know how to put the re-stamped tag.
