I just bought a new battery for my '70 Super Bee from Tom at restorationbattery.com and was very impressed with the quality of service and price of the battery. He only sells repro batteries with the latest AGM technology in them and the price ($275 plus $50 shipping) beats Year One and others I researched hands down. Also bought the Battery Minder from him to keep the battery always ready. If you're looking for a correct repro battery at a good price, in my opinion Tom may be your man.

I got one from Antique Auto battery for the Daytona & it was fine. Got one for the 68 Charger & it is just weak. Constantly had a trickle charger on it & it would go dead by the time the gas got up to the carbs. Sent it back once & when it back, I had the same problem. I talked to them again & all they did was recharge it & send it back. So they said to send it back again & they would take it apart to see what was wrong. I sent it back with a letter saying that I want a new one. This time I put some identifying marks on it, so we'll see what I get when I get it back.
