After owning my R/T for 42 years, it went to the restoration shop last Friday.
Pictures and info will follow............,

Sure does look nice. Got any more before pictures?

From the one photo it sure looks nice so it must be fairly all original,is that why it needs a resto to be freshened up or are you going the full route?

Danny Helms in Casar NC is doing the work. Looking at the process he uses, his shop, cars under way and a couple of completions,.,,,,,,,,,, he is a master artisian. I will post more pictures as he progresses.

That's what I'm thinking also after seeing more pics.

Wow to look at this one i thought the resto was done.. Great looking ride and good luck.

what's the story? looks done now

THANKS FOR ALL THE GRACIOUS COMMENTS.

THE BODY DID NEED SOME ATTENTION. PAINT HAD BEEN ON FOR 15 YEARS. (ONLY BEEN OUTSIDE A COUPLE OF TIMES DURING THAT PERIOD) THE BODY WORK WAS LESS THAN PERFECT. ALL MECHANICAL IS GOOD. I HAVE DONE MOST OF THAT DURING THE PAST 40 SOME YEARS. IF I HADN'T HAD IT SO LONG AND HAD ALL THE HISTORY, MATCHING NUMBERS, SECOND OWNER, (even hauled a little mooshine in it lol)I PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAVE HAD IT RESTORED.

Nice car ! If that was mine and in that good of shape, makes a good survivor, would leave it alone. But of course it's his ride. Just my .02.

As you can see - we're all jealous of your ride and its history. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the restoration.

Yeah,
I'm with Wannadrag & Donny !!
It looks good to me!
PS: Coronets are such sweet cars.
I believe they are very underrated.

Yeah, gotta agree that's one nice car.

under rated hell most people outside of real mopar folk have no idea what you are talking about. "yeah my grandma had a coronet 440 back in the day that had a 440 right?"
