Richard Rawlings........

My wife and I are BIG Street Outlaws fans!
We have met most of them in person. The nicest ones, consistently are Farmtruck and Azn. These guys are great and really appreciate their fans, and have a quick wit and great sense of humor. Dominator was really nice too. The biggest asshole of the bunch was Monza, but I'll write that off to him being involved in the process of getting his car ready/being wrapped up in the race.
Regardless of what you all think about the show, we really like it.
I'll add that JJ da boss (Memphis) was very nice in person and although she was a little shy, Precious his cousin was nice too. When we recently went to No Prep Kings races in Memphis, JJ and his group were actually street racing and we went to check it out! No cameras, no police blocking the road, just the real thing!

I like both shows, that being said, never drive a car that’s faster than what your brain can think!

What is the deal with the rags hanging from his back pockets? Can't be a grease rag!

Having done my share of stupid things in cars in my life, I'm not going to judge him for getting in over his head trying to put on a show for the fans.

I think the comments about Justin/Big Chief
& Shawn/Murder Nova
the flat billed loser Hat & tucked in his big ol' Ears
was about the vato-thug "LOOK" dress or attempts,
trying to look like a hard-*** OKC Gansta
(more like an East LA) 'Look' they try to portray...

Grown men acting like ghetto trash 16 y/o's
from Compton or maybe even New Orleans :poke:

I like the show too, "usually"...
I like the racing, more than the BS/Drama...

A few of the characters act like infantile ********...
Having not met them, only knowing what they try to portray on the show...

I think the drama from Big Chief & Murder Nova
'games on list race nights'
Scripted BS {maybe ?} for camera time etc.
& bias/favoring them in the 'alleged rules' & their buddies,
is getting old, fast...

fame has gone to most all their heads

They talk "street", it's so far beyond the org. concept now,
they have gotten way too fast for the street credibility
all of the list are full on tube chassis racecars now
6 & 7 sec. 1/4 mile & 4.0 -5.0 1/8th mile cars,
even Farmtruck has 1100+hp plus N20/1400-1700hp
racing people with high 8-9 sec. 1/4 mile cars 'at best' usually
Kye Kelly & JJ was really the only comp.
They should win every damn race...

except Farmtruck & AZN still go fishing & actually street drive them

Farmtruck & AZN acting the fools,
scripted for viewers entertainment value {?}
they seem like that type of people, but fun loving

Ryan Martin/Fireball Camaro & Ed/Dominator,
Jeff Lutz I love his 57's (who I've met a few times over the years)
he's a great dude in person
even Monza's attitude usually on the show is good
his son is a total dick/little asshole
Dave Comstock/Goliath 2.0 I've talked with a couple times too,
before the fame of the show, he's a real racer/driver
some characters seem like authentic/good people,
I'd have a beer with...
A few I wouldn't give the time of the day to...

Chuck/Deathtrap has a shortman's mentality,
huge chip on his shoulder,
fast little twin turbo'd Chevy powered big tire Stang
he's from the NHRA 'Import' tuner wars quite a few years back,
fwd fartcan cars, he had a 7 sec. Import,
IIRC he won a NHRA class championship with it
the class didn't last long at all {want to say late 90's}

Doc (albeit a fast car) & Reaper plays the fools,
both are portrayed as losers & the beating posts constantly,
the "butt" of everyone's jokes, behind their backs

Shane (& Bob the manikin) is a pussy, as his character is portrayed
lets everyone walk over him & bully him, buddies with Shawn & Justin
outside of the racing seems like a decent guy {?}

carry on
back on topic

I've seen Doc, Shawn, Cheif and others a few times at the local strip. And I can honesty say these are NOT street cars. They didn't drive their cars from OKC (140 miles)and they certainly don't have an inspection sticker, tags, etc.
I make the 30 mile , one way trip, in my licensed, inspected street car, run low 6's and make a stop at IHOP on the way home.
Oh yeah, I usually do my burn-out before I stage.

In the Gay scene, MEN use different colored handkerchiefs to relay what type of fetish or kink that they like. Left pocket and right pocket determine to give or receive. I remember seeing this in the 1980 movie "Cruising" with Al Pacino. Seems pretty complicated.....I thought dealing with women was difficult.

Wrecking the Hellcat for what wasn't a very good "showoff" moment sucks.
This is for Rawlings:

As far as the Street Outlaws guys, my personal experiences with them were clearly stated in my post. Farmtruck and Azn are funny guys with a quick wit and genuine appreciation for their fans.
Lutz's 57 Chevy is a beautiful car (I cringe every time he wrecks it) and a great color-of coarse... :)
I admire one thing, may be the ONLY thing, but it's a BIG thing about Big Chief and that is he runs a PONTIAC motor in his Pontiac! It would be easier and cheaper for him to run a chebby bb, but he stuck w/the Pontiac mill and I respect that.
Out of all the vehicles on the show my all time favorite is the Farmtruck! He drives it on the street, goes fishing for races, you all know it's a REALLY heavy beast, the mudflats kinda "hide" the slicks and there is so much character about that vehicle, and it's FAST!
I agree-full tube chassis cars are NOT "street" cars, but at least they are not running promods anymore.

I suspected he was a little light in the loafers!

With the exception for the Farmtruck, none of those cars could pass an inspection to be street legal.
