Loved the Viper, a real drivers cars especially the early cars no frills
hated to see it discontinued
a bucket list car, I probably will never own, too many cars/trucks
I want, but not enough time or $$
 
Somewhere, I have pics (actual, developed photos) of the prototype that was displayed at the Detroit auto show in IIRC 1991.

There are definitely some differences from the production model.

I had the opportunity to drive one at a dealer "drive ours and drive theirs" event around 1998.

Unfortunately, I didn't fit. Couldn't even close the door.

I'm 6'3" and 200# but I'm not "fat".

They don't look that tight until you try.
