My favorite of all their hunks of junk. I was disappointed when it didn’t make the “Top 10” Roadkill project cars. Also that they painted it, but I get that. Low 12s on a junk motor home 440.

The best part about Roadkill is that they are having fun....... and it's infectious to the viewer. If I was to dream up a car show to be in, it would be pretty much like Roadkill.

I have to agree with you to a degree, I personally like watching them resurrect a abandoned car or project having done that many times myself and I do not mind the cobbled up science experiments like Stubby Bob, but I do not like them just beating the hell out of things for the shear joy of it. They are talented mechanics but are quick to take the easy way most of the time.

Hotrod garage is the best show for me, well done and they produce some decent vehicles.

Hands down, it is the most entertaining show on TV!!!! My favorite episode is the trip in the green lowrider, that can three-wheel, through the desert.

You know, I had forgot that episode, not sure how it's funny as hell.
One of the best moments is when the garage door goes up.

Yea no doubt and it would be easy for me since that was about dead nutz on for the first half of my life floating from junker to junker and throwing speed parts at it to go have fun in the back alleys and industrial parks for mate nut racing.

The Crop Duster is my favorite. Probably even more so since I got this shell and found a awesome deal on this induction system for my low deck400.

You pretty much summed up the show. Most of the time its entertaining; Finnegan winning his class at Drag Week in the Blasphemi was a highlight. Freiburger and Finnegan are true car guys and they play well together. But watching two guys stranded on the side of road every episode does get old.

No that's the premise

I didn't like it much to begin with untile I got the "schtique" & their humor

It's since grown on me

it is sort of infantile
at-least that's what my 84 Y/O dad says when he has to sit thru me watching it
maybe I like it just because he hates it so much

Gotta weigh in here and say my son and I are big fans of Roadkill as well as the overall aesthetic.
We pulled a 66 Coronet out of a barn 3 years ago, got it on the road after 15 years of sitting and drive it everywhere including Roadkill Nights in Pontiac. Doing the same now w/ my 70 Charger.
Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Hot Rod Garage and Engine Masters are all my way of relaxing while maybe learning something at the same time. I love the road trips as much as the wrenching!

One thing that kinda annoyed the folks with them from the beginning: Frieburger said he would keep a full episode free on motortrend a month behind new ones. But they haven't kept up on it. The episode hasn't been updated in months. I could pay for it but there's enough free stuff out there. Lately I've been watching BabaYaga Racing on Youtube I have a 07 gt500 so that's fun to watch.

I don't pay for TV so I haven't been able to watch it since it's youtube days.
And it was the ONLY car show that I was interested in watching.
No manufactured drama or drama queens.
My wife watched it too with me.
There are many, many fine episodes.
But if I had to pick the best it's episode 37 because of what they do at the end.
If you haven't seen that one.

I'm another one they lost when that whole pay TV thing happened - all part of the mega-huge
Discover collection of networks and such now.
Back when the show was by itself and on YT, I followed along religiously - the show was more
genuine then and yes, they actually made some statements against network shows in those days,
promising to never go there with the show.
So much for that...

I still do like what Finnegan is doing with his own YT channel; that's still genuine and he was never
the slick "presenter" Freiberger is anyways and doesn't try to be.
Tony and Lucky are other favorites, especially Lucky with his own YT channel as well - no pretense,
no polish, just Lucky doing his thing.

I'm not sure I would pay for Motor Trend TV, but since it comes free with Hagarty Insurance, it's a nice benefit. Lots of cool content to watch on that channel. The documentary Blink of an Eye was awesome!
