My dash lights where coming on just before the bump for the dome and where not that bright, for the heck of it I took an another switch I had and soldered a wire between the two terminals for the dash lights ( close to the switch body so I could still plug it in) now I have bright dash lights that aren't dimmable but that's ok with me. Dome light still works as it should.
