Yeah, I'd make that trade too. I can't get enough of my Charger, but if someone offered to trade a Mach 1 like that for my '74, I'd go for it. Then I'd save up a few bucks and buy another 3rd gen Charger.
But I totally get why you didn't do it. Your car is way personalized, down to the Steelers theme, and to trade that away would be tough. As much as I'd like to go nuts and personalize my Charger more, it's just so awesome completely stock that I can't mess with it.

That's bullshit. Back in the 70's the Cleveland was the small block to get because of the heads, but it had other problems mainly in the oiling department. Fast forward to 2012 and what blue oval product do you see a lot of on the track? What is the engine base for the 347, 393, 408, 427 - not to mention so many successful 302's. Yep, all Windsor based.

Like many others here, I'm a Mopar guy 1st, but 67-70 Mustang's especially Boss & Mach 1's, are also very cool cars, some of the squirrelly *** people that own & drive Mustang's, have little to be desired thou...LOL... the 69 Mach 1 is worth far more than even a perfect 74 RR... sorry, no offense intended... If you have allot of money or too many personal touches, in your 74 RR, it will only appeal to a much smaller crowd anyway, as far as value, I'm sure you already know all of that anyway, 74 RR they weren't as popular as the Mustang's in any 65-70 years, hence the million's of Mustang's over those years in sales... If the 69 Mach 1 was in good/decent shape, you could have made some quick cash, as much as I hate car flippers, used car salesmen types, let alone many Mustang guys/people {not the cars}, they sell fast as hell, blue or not, tubbed or not, nose bleed jacked up or not, you could have easily sold it, maybe bought 2 decent Mopars of more valuable style or years, again no offense intended & had some cash to mess with, too boot, to build how you like it...LOL... I love allot of different brands & makes, a 69 Mach 1, 351 4sd would be one of them, I probably wouldn't keep it long either, but would take advantage of the extra worth/value & popularity of the millions of Mustang's sold, sell it after abusing it a little while & build another Mopar or 2, probably yet another 68-70 RR or Cuda', that's been my -MO- for many years.... I really like the 74 RR you have now, even with all the Steelers stuff all over it {Raiders fan I can't help that}, it would be a damn shame to sell/trade it now... it's a conundrum, I'm so damn cofused...LOL... Bruzilla good luck in what ever you choose to do, I would support the decision...
