went up to brainerd,mn. labor day weekend with the wife cause her brother was going to pop the ? to her.He did it at the rodeo his boss sponsers every labor day in nimrod,mn.,had a great time.here are some pics.The pic with the gal standing by the clown is my brother-in-laws GF.it was a set-up that she had the winning ticket so she had to go down in the arena,then the clown blindfolded her so he could act like a knife thrower only he was going to use shovelsand pitchforks.when she took the blindfold,he was on his knee with the ring out.And she did say yes.The last two pics are of me that the wife took.DAMN HER. Sorry about the blurry pictures,not a real high quality camera.

the only serious injury was when a 14 yr rider got thrown and then stepped on by the bull.good thing he was wearing a helmet,but the life-flight still had to meet the ambulance and fly him to mnpls.hope he comes out okay.

the whole family on both sides came up.she did not have a clue on what was going on.

Congrat's to your brother and soon to be sister in law. Sure looks like it was a good time. Soooooo, a photographer career with National Geographic is probably not in your wife's future, but at least she brought a camara and took the time to snap some pic's. Hell, i'd be the clown that would have forgot to bring one in the first place...LOL

the wife picked out the hat for me i like it.photography is not her strong point,but it was hard to get action shots with a wally-world digital.while we were waitng for the ambulance to come back,the rodeo announcer was trying to keep everybody's spirit up,told the crowd there was a celebrity among us.said it was trace atkins,so we all start looking around(me included).told everyone that he was sitting in the top seats and just took a drink from his mountain dew bottle.Guess what,he was talking about me.LOL.then he wanted to know if i would come down and sing a song(wasn't gonna happen).But yeah we had a good time,i think the wife and i are going up there next year.
