Rolling mouse/rat trap or the traditional spring loaded ones?

Try a wildlife camera for some evenings entertainment. They can stream to your phone these days.
Looks like there's some reasonable priced ones on Ebay.....might do that but hope to have them gone real soon.

Bought a couple of the spring traps today.....only had one on the regular isle but the wife went to the discount shelf and found another for a dollar less. Regular price is only 3 bucks but 33% off is good so got it too. Think I know why it was on the sale rack....one side of the spring came off of the 'kill' bar but there's still plenty of tension on it. Tomcat vs Victor. Thought the Victor might be the lesser one since it has the plastic bait/hook and the Tomcat is built like the traditional Victors. I have them loaded with pieces of ham so we'll see. The place I went to didn't have any 'sticky paper' so the PB jars are on the sidelines. Didn't get anything last night.

The Victor spring trap got a rat last night while the TomCat rat trap was sprung and the bait was gone. Not even a hair was left on it. 2 down and I hope only 1 more to go....

Freshened the trap and put it inline with where I saw him/ them ( they?)

I always put the ramp 90* to the "drum", so when they jump they keep going around...
That's the way I had mine.....but there were no 'takers'....got one in my live tender trap and one in a spring trap. There's one more rat but looks to be gone. Traps are still set though.

got 2 last night in a 14" vase about 6" diameter. water half full. I make sure there is no water anywhere in the building, cold here and very dry. little basterds are thirsty, I wait for this time every winter, they come in and run out of water, takes them out every time. rinsed and refilled for tonight

Too much water around here. Both neighbors on either side have water out....one has a couple of fountains and the other has 3 dogs.
