The poly mounts suck, they sent me 3 sets because they fail.
Think about the direction of the 'poly-loc.'
Both sides of the mount run vertical, which means when the engine twists towards the passenger side, it pushes down and they will slide apart.
Tired of dealing with it, I bought a complete set of their rubber mounts with powder coated brackets and promptly bent the passenger side bracket.
All of this with no burnouts or stupidity, just normal driving.
I have a chain bolted on the engine and frame as the torque strap doesn't fit my model/year. Doesn't help much.
They asked me to make a heat shields the first time, said I shouldn't need them with their headers, which I have, ceramic coated. Made heat shields, same result.
Ended up drilling a hole thru the passenger mount and putting in a bolt, which helped, need to do driver side or go solid.
I don't know why others don't have the same issue, maybe it's because my engine sticks thru the hood and it's extremely noticable when the engine gradually tilts to one side?
Everyone I meet who has them raves about them but no one looks at them.
2 different mounts on the same side in pics, both slid apart.
