I have used sea foam in all my cars I think it works well for the gas and oil thinking useing marvels too.ANy opinions on this ? Would like. To see wut u guys have to say.

Marvel Mistery Oil really works. I had an Engine that was sitting for 3 years. I sprayed each cylinder, then a week later stated the engine. A little smoke for 20 seconds then check compression I was amazed. I have used it for many years.

We run the marvel in the gas of all our antique pulling tractors, without it the valves tend to stick with the crap gas now days.

I use about 4oz. of Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas every time I fill up my old cars. I've used it for a long time. Had an old timer mechanic tell me that it helps reduce the corrosion and gunk that you get with the crappy ethanol laced pump gas that you get these days. Helps keep the valves clean and lubricated too.

I've substituted a qt. of MMO at every oil change starting with the very first one. The truck now has 190,000 miles on it and you could eat out of the oil pan.

hmmm...ive been considering using some MMO in the oil to keep everything nice and clean. ive pulled the VC's off and and pulled the oil pan a bunch of times, and they are clean, but i think it might be some good insurance anyways.

I know a lot of guys in the Crown Victoria community use Sea Foam that they add to the oil and suck in through a vacuum line to clean the valves. You just need to make sure you change your oil after using it, and alert the neighbors not to call the fire department when you fire the engine and smoke is everywhere.

I tell you somethin else it helps in crown vics, too. There's an EGR passage that's small as all hell that always gets stopped up on high mileage cars and throws an EGR/PFE code. I've seen people replace EGR valves and PFEs right and left and pull their hair out, when all it was was carbon stoppin up that passage.

long time MMO user here....It's truly one of the few snake oil products out there that actually does what it advertises....

Yup and I'll tell you another. Engine Restore. It comes in a chrome can for 4 6 and 8 cylinder engines. Although you have to replace it with every oil change, IT WORKS. It fills scratches in on the cylinder walls and restores compression and stops oil consumption. I've used it several times.

is this something that can be used on newer cars? I just bought an 04 Escalade with 99k on the clock. the caddy tech recommends only chevron dextron in the gas.

I use both of them in my 73 RR. I had sticky valves, I actually hooked up a vac gauge when I applied the sea foam. My needle was bouncing like crazy at first and as I sucked the foam thru the pcv, it slowly steadied out. After seeing the proof, I'm sold.

One of my 73 Road Runners had a 340 that was smoking pretty bad, and I put a can of that engine restore stuff in since I figured I had nothing to lose, and it did work for a while. The smoking stopped for about four months.

I've used the seafoam in my 99 Stang worked well have been using it on the 66 MMO ill start using it too now thanks for the input everyone .

Agreed..As a matter of fact, i have a recent story on engine restore...My work truck(94 Z71/350tbi) had been leaking oil via a worn rear main seal for a long time, to the tune of about a quart every 3-400 miles, yeah, she was loosing it bad...I really didn't want to spend 8 hours under it replacing the seal in this weather...so i decided to use some engine restore...I changed the oil/filter, and dumped the crap in with the new oil...Now 1300 miles later, it has barely lost any oil at all, maybe a 1/4 quart at best guess....

So yes, this is another product that does what it advertises...:)

Google it, Sea foam cleans carbon and frees up sticky valves, it's good stuff.
